“I knew that!”

“…But I didn’t know it was Ayurvedic.”

Ayurvedic Science is simply translated as ‘the knowledge of how to live.’

People say how Ayurvedic guidelines seem just like plain old common sense. Like how the sweet tartness of lemonade in the Summer brings elements to us that quench our thirst in a way that other fruits don’t quite touch. Or how much sense it makes to eat our salad greens with either oily dressing or a squeeze of citrus.

Learning how the cycles of nature affect you is a great boost to your wellness and healthcare.  And so much of it you already knew!

How Healing Works in Ayurveda

Ayurveda observes the ways our bodies and minds might have become imbalanced from the stresses and strains of daily living.  Specifically, the 5 Elements of Nature are observed, and then lifestyle practices or herbal formulas are suggested to restore the elemental balance within you.

As a knowledgebase, Ayurvedic Science has been in use a couple of millenia, and remains relevant to the present day.  It has a lot to teach those of us who are unfamiliar with it. Below are some examples of how people use Ayurvedic Consultation:

  • A review of your daily wellness routines can be used for spot treating immediate issues. And an assessment of your unique Elemental Constitution gives you empowering knowledge of how to prevent imbalances from re-occurring.
  • For long-standing imbalances, taking an herbal formula for a number of months works well to bring you back into balance.
  • And focused healing programs, especially when they include a very deep cleansing regimen, are useful both for annual re-balancing before your most challenging season, or for stubborn health conditions. Deep cleansing can actually reverse entrenched imbalances and keep these conditions from recreating themselves.
